TIME: 9:00-12:00PM

SHOWCASE: June 14th at Noon.

Exposing the youngest of actors to the stage for the first time! All children play and this program harnesses their natural love of play to build the same skills that older
actors, many of whom have forgotten how to play, strive to perfect!

Through a combination of storytelling, movement, imaginative play and character exploration
participants learn to bring a story to life with THEM as the characters. Camp program culminates with a
short performance for friends and family on the last day of camp.

What skills do young theatre participants take away?

1. Stronger Social Skills – Early performing arts classes can help your child learn to interact with others through play, creativity, and shared interests. By learning to make friends and communicate at a young age, they’ll have an easier time in social situations in school and in the
workplace later on.

2. Stronger Motor Skills – Performing arts classes have physical components like dancing and acrobatics, which help develop young muscles and brains. Children’s motor skills are also improved, and their independence is enhanced.

3. Increased Confidence – Public speaking is a fear for most adults, yet gaining confidence on stage early on through performing arts classes can help your child to be among the few who are natural in front of a crowd.

4. Creative Thinking – Children are naturally creative, perhaps because their minds are still open and curious. Learning to think in new and different ways will help them succeed as adults. Early performing arts classes foster and strengthen that creativity as your child expresses themselves through their art.

5. Teamwork – The ability to work in a team is a crucial life skill, and it’s also one that can be hard to learn as a child. As part of a theatrical ensemble the group is forced to work together essential for the show to go on. It will become like second nature to your child.
